Reading a Prediction

How to actually read what's published

Every market page on Betzena follows the same visual language, so once you understand it on one page, it carries over everywhere else on the site.

Odds are decimal, not fractional

An odds figure of 1.80 means a winning 1-unit stake returns 0.80 in profit, plus your original stake back — 1.80 total. Lower odds mean the outcome is considered more likely; higher odds mean it's considered less likely but pays out more if it lands.

Result chips: win, loss, and the difference void makes

A green chip means that leg won. A red chip means it lost. A muted grey chip means void — the match was postponed, abandoned, or otherwise didn't resolve, so it's excluded from the win/loss count entirely rather than counted as a loss.

Combined odds on multi-leg picks

When a prediction combines more than one match, the combined odds shown are simply each leg's own odds multiplied together — never a separately invented number. Every leg still has to win individually for the combination to pay out; one leg failing breaks the whole thing, regardless of how the rest perform.

Live status: Pending, In Progress, Landed, or Missed

On same-day and weekend products, legs update as their matches actually finish — a leg shows "Pending" before kickoff and reveals its real result once the match ends. Critically, a multi-leg pick is marked as already missed the moment any settled leg loses, even if other legs haven't kicked off yet — it doesn't wait out the clock on an outcome that's already decided.

Accumulator Risk

Why more legs means more risk, not just more reward

Combining selections multiplies the odds, but it also compounds the risk — every added leg is another chance for the whole pick to fail. A ten-leg accumulator built from genuinely strong individual selections can still lose more often than it wins, purely because of how probability compounds: if each leg wins 80% of the time on its own, the odds of all ten landing together works out to roughly 11%, not 80%. That's simple multiplication, not a flaw in the analysis.
