This page explains how refund requests are handled for Betzena subscriptions. It works alongside, and doesn't replace, the billing terms in our Terms of Service.
1. The General Principle
Betzena is a digital subscription service — access to that billing period's markets and picks is delivered the moment your subscription activates. Because of that, we don't offer automatic refunds for a billing period that's already started, in the same way that cancelling doesn't retroactively refund the current period; it stops the next one from billing. Genuine billing problems are reviewed case by case, not against a fixed refund window.
2. What We'll Review
We'll look into a refund request when something has genuinely gone wrong on our end or with the charge itself, including:
- You were charged twice for the same billing period.
- You were charged after a subscription you'd already cancelled.
- A payment went through but your plan never actually activated, due to a technical fault.
- The charge wasn't authorized by you (please also contact your bank or payment provider directly for this one, alongside us).
3. What's Not Eligible
Refunds are not offered simply because published predictions didn't win. No prediction service can guarantee an outcome, and Betzena doesn't — every tier's pricing reflects access to analysis and structured picks, not a promise of results, and that's true whether a pick landed or missed. Refunds also aren't offered for a billing period you didn't get around to using, or for switching to a cheaper plan after the fact — a downgrade takes effect from your next billing cycle, same as a cancellation.
4. How to Request One
Contact us with your order reference (or the email address and approximate date of the charge, if you don't have the reference) and a short description of what went wrong. We'll confirm what happened on our end and let you know the outcome directly — there's no form to fill out, just message us.
5. How Refunds Are Paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Paystack, Flutterwave, or Stripe — whichever processed the original charge — since Betzena doesn't hold your payment details itself to refund any other way. How long it takes to actually appear depends on that provider and your bank, not on Betzena.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes, including adding a specific refund window in the future if one is decided on. Material changes will be reflected with a new "last updated" date at the top of this page.
